Due to various problems the community websites will begin a new payment schedule for listings. Beginning in July all listings will have to be prepaid before they will appear on our listing pages. A minority of businesses have gotten their listings on our pages and have not paid for them. Some have received six months of listing and then decided that they weren't going to pay. In fairness to all our other members, we will be making changes with a payment schedule that should benefit all. Sneak peek follows. This is not set in stone yet, but it will give you a general idea of what we will be doing. Maintenance of all six websites takes a good deal of time. Time is money. So to make life easier for me and provide you with great service, here is the plan at least for now.

I haven't determined what bonus will be added yet. Invoices will be mailed one month in advance. Businesses will select which payment plan they want and send that amount in.

We have altered the way Banner/Logo Listings will be displayed. Although smaller in size, they will now be displayed in your category not only in the community your business is located, but in all six communities. Six times the value it used to be and no extra charge. It helps  in maintenance and I am just passing on the savings to you. It's a great value, since the Banners are at the top of the category page. Consumers will see your banner before they scroll down the page to view Logo Listings, which you will still have, and before they reach the Standard listings. Logo Listings will be displayed Alphabetically in all six communities regardless of which community you belong to. Stay tuned that may change in the future.

Be sure to add your descriptions for your Logo Listings. Many of you are not using the sixty word description to your listing. You can add services, hours, or anything you think your customers might want to know. We will be continuing the ads for your Logo Listings as well. Those who have advertising on our pages will stay that way for a while. In the future we will be contacting everyone about how to add an ad to your listing. If your not familiar with the service, go to the sites and click on the Icon "Advertisement" and view some of them. Some are outdated right now, but we will be working on them to bring them up to date. We will be sending everyone listed with us information about the ads and what the costs will be. We discontinued the "Shopping Guide" many months ago. It was not well suited for your business to use.

We will become more aggressive with letting consumers know about our community websites, and we will be linking up with other websites to draw new visitors. When we advertise one of the community websites, we are really advertising all the sites, because they are linked, and you are listed on all six sites. We would appreciate it if you would let your customers know about our websites. It will help other businesses and yours if we get local consumers using our web pages. Spread the word.

You now have the ability to pay your Invoices online or purchase services and join our membership. www.olcnow.com is now able to accept payments online. Existing members can pay their invoices on line and new members will be able to purchase membership or sign up for Logo Listings and Banner/Logo Listings. We will of course continue to accept payments by mail.

If you have a Banner/Logo Listing with us you receive one free narrow column ad on our home pages in the right column per each  six month listing period. Email or call us about details. Ad lasts for at least 30 days.

This is a free service to all Logo and Logo/Banner listings. Just write about what your business is all about or what services you offer. Tell about a new product.  You can change your business highlight any time you need to.
